Born Jan. 12, 1906, in Berrysburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles Seymour and Catherine Jane Weaver Lebo. 
She was the widow of Jacob Taft Sherk. 

A 1925 graduate of LVVS High School, Berrysburg, and 1930 graduate of Harrisburg Polyclinic School of Nursing, Mrs. 
Sherk was a registered nurse and retired as evening supervisor for Polyclinic Hospital.

She also served as a private duty nurse in the Harrisburg area and a Red Cross nurse.

She was a member of Derry Street United Methodist Church, Messiah Village Auxiliary and American Association of 
Retired Persons.

She is survived by four nieces, four nephews, 19 grandnieces, eight grandnephews and many great-grandnieces and 
nephews and great-great-grandnieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11 at Messiah Village. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. 
A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
