Fred E. Lebo, 70

Trevorton - Fred E. Lebo, 70, of 109 W. Market St. died
Wednesday morning, Nov. 8, 1989, in Geisinger Medical
Center, Danville. He had been in ill health for the past
few years and entered the hospital Tuesday evening.

Born in Trevorton, Jan. 20, 1919, he was a son of the 
late Samuel and Hannah (Derrick) Lebo. He was married in
1946 to the former Kathryn Rebuck.

Mr. Lebo was a lifelong resident of Trevorton. He worked
as a coal miner much of his life and also worked at 
Champ Hats in Sunbury for many years, retiring in 1980.

He was educated in the Trevorton schools and was a member
of Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck; Zerbe Township Rod
and Gun Club; and Trevorton American Legion Post 92. He
served in the Army during World War II.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, 
Linda Bingaman of Northumberland RD2; a son, Timothy of
Trevorton; three grandsons; three brothers, Elwood and
James, both of Trevorton, and Frank of Dornsife; and
three sisters, Evelyn of Shamokin, Joan Roadarmel of 
Trevorton and Dorothy Davies of Wastontown.

Two brothers, Herbert and Leon, preceded him in death.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the
Robert Foust Funeral Home, Trevorton, by the Rev. John
G. Conz. Burial will be in Himmel's Lutheran Cemetery,
Rebuck.

Visitors may call in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday.
